"One fun fact I learned while on the air with Keith Olbermann was that humans on the Internet are scumbags. People say children are cruel, but I was never made fun of as a child or an adult. Suddenly, my disability on the world wide web is fair game. I would look at clips online and see comments like, "Yo, why’s she tweakin?" "Yo, is she retarded?" And my favorite, "Poor Gumby-mouth terrorist. What does she suffer from? We should really pray for her." One commenter even suggested that I add my disability to my credits: screenwriter, comedian, palsy."

earthstory:

This is “Beachy Head”; a prominent chalk headland located between Eastbourne and Birling Gap on the south coast of England. It is the highest chalk headland in Great Britain being 162 metres at its highest point above sea level. The cliffs were formed over a period of 30 million years; between 95 to 65 million years ago when a sub-tropical sea covered the area. The shells of billions of microscopic planktonic algae formed a deposit which eventually hardened into layers of white rock a thousand feet thick. This has since been uplifted due to continental movement and subsequent erosion has created what is seen today.Beautiful!-JeanPhoto courtesy of Rhys Davies.

The Rosewood, housed in a stately Edwardian edifice near Covent Garden that was once the offices of an insurance company, elegantly splits the difference between the two London hotel mainstays: the quirky and the stuffy.
